Recently, there have been significant changes in the state of Illinois surrounding the rules for hosting corporate casino nights. If a casino event does not require a fee to get in, and real money is not used (which is the case for most corporate casino events), then a State Charitable Games License is no longer required. In the past, event operators were required to hire charity volunteers and make a contribution to the charity on their behalf.
