For those who wish to enjoy a few hours of sailing on the lake without having to learn the sport, Chicago Sailing offers USCG licensed charters for groups and individuals. One of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive sailing schools, Chicago Sailing is proud to be a US SAILING certified facility (the governing authority of sailing in the USA). Chicago Sailing instructs over 1,500 students to these exacting standards each year. Courses include Basic Keelboat, Basic Cruising, Coastal Navigation, Bareboat Cruising, and Sailboat Racing.
With 24 vessels from 22’-54’ Chicago Sailing offers the largest hourly sailboat rental fleet in the nation, one of the few that is open to the public. We have no membership requirements or membership fees.
Professional sailing charters are a popular for corporate events, parties, and intimate cruises. Chicago Sailing offers convenient, hourly charters on vessels that will accommodate as many as 40 passengers, all captained by licensed USCG masters.
Managing change, transformational leadership, team relationships and communication are concepts that are best experienced first-hand rather than discussed in a conference room. Chicago Sailing’s Team Building offers a custom-designed, time-tested program that cannot be matched in its effectiveness.
