Historical Meeting Space

The perfect place for special events featuring well-appointed indoor spaces and an outdoor plaza with a spectacular view of Lincoln Park and the Gold Coast. A variety of event spaces—including the Chicago Room, with the adjoining Robinson Gallery; the Rubloff Auditorium and adjacent Wrigley Gallery; the North & Clark Café; and the Mandel Conference Room—offer options for your event.

The Chicago Room

Chicago Room with round tables with its Georgian-style architecture and breathtaking views, the Chicago Room provides a classic setting for any event. Entering through the Sanger P. Robinson Gallery, the space features east-facing windows overlooking Uihlein Plaza and Lincoln Park. The interior walls contain back-lit cases displaying exquisite stained glass panels.

Cafe from upper level

Located on the Museum’s first floor, the newly renovated North & Clark Café is available for private rentals. The Café features floor-to-ceiling windows offering unique views of Lincoln Park and the Children’s Fountain. Set on two levels, the Café accommodates 60 to 80 guests for a plated meal and up to 120 guests for a cocktail-style reception.

Rubloff Auditorium

The Rubloff Auditorium is one of the most handsome and versatile theaters in the city. The fully operational theater is the perfect setting for a variety of events. The adjacent Wrigley Gallery is perfect for receptions prior to or following a program in the auditorium.

Mandel Conference Room

This elegant conference room includes forty armchairs with burgundy fabric cushions and ten six-foot tables, which can be arranged to suit your needs. Seats 40.
 
Guild Room

The Guild RoomThe newly renovated Guild Room features state of the art audio visual capabilities and floor to ceiling windows along the South Wall of the Room. Twelve six-foot tables and fifty arm chairs are included with the rental of the space. Seats 50.

We attended the Berghoff catering roundtable tasting and learned a lot about this infamous organization including how sustainable they are in working with local farmers to provide their ingredients. In addition, their whole team top down knows everything about the organization from the kitchen to the client. The passion they have is outstanding and if i were seeking an event caterer, they would be my #1 call. Below is the tasting menu which was served to us during the tasting. Everything below is perfectly proportioned and tasty, however, the “stand out” for me was the Bacon Wrapped Chorizo Stuffed Date Skewer!!

We have small to large…and spaces in between to meet your event specifications, including the Festival Halls, the majestic Grand Ballroom, Lakeview Terrace, a unique Rooftop and 36 additional rooms for meetings and more.

The Festival Hall Complex provides accommodations for events that have surpassed the space offered by most hotels. This unique space is the perfect place for grand events and can be dressed for any occasion. The Festival Hall Complex offers an enormous amount of flexibility for virtually any small to medium-sized event or exhibition.

Festival Halls A and B are 170,000 square feet of flexible exhibition and special event space, for events such as trade shows, consumer shows, graduations, sporting events and general sessions. The space is divisible into two with Hall A at 113,400 square feet and Hall B at 56,700. Surrounding the space are 36 meeting rooms that add an additional 36,000 square feet of meeting space.

Make Your Event Part of History in Navy Pier’s majestic Grand Ballroom. The Grand Ballroom can seat up to 1,100 people at tables on the main floor. The balcony area can seat up to 300 additional guests. The 18,150 square foot Grand Ballroom is reminiscent of an era of elegance and splendor. Built in 1916, the Grand Ballroom embodies the magnificence of the past with all the amenities and services of the present. With its 80-foot lighted domed ceiling and panoramic views of the lake, the Grand Ballroom is like no other venue in the United States. It provides a stunning atmosphere for corporate events, banquets, receptions and parties.

The Lakeview Terrace is a large Chicago loft-style space that can accommodate 450 guests seated comfortably. Featuring breath-taking views of both Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, Lakeview Terrace provides a setting for receptions and small exhibitions. Located at the east end of Navy Pier, adjacent to the Grand Ballroom, the historic 15,000-square-foot terrace also makes an excellent pre function for events taking place in the Grand Ballroom.

Take it to the top…at Navy Pier’s 27,000-square-foot Lakeview Terrace Rooftop. This open-air venue provides enough space for up to 1000 sun-seeking or star-gazing guests with unparalleled view of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan.  The Rooftop also comes with a canopy tent that can seat up to 250 people or be used however you see fit.  The Rooftop is an ideal setting for outdoor events both large and small
